CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

The 2010 Computer Human Interaction Mentoring (CHIMe) Workshop, co-sponsored by the Computing Research Association's Committee on the Status of Women in Computing Research, the Coalition to Diversify Computing, the Empowering Leadership Alliance and the National Science Foundation is a discipline-specific workshop for mentoring young underrepresented minority students in HCI.  The workshop provides a unique opportunity for underrepresented minority researchers in HCI to interact with leaders in their field, network, learn about the latest trends in HCI, and present their work to the HCI community for constructive feedback.

We invite graduate students who work in the field of HCI to submit applications for scholarships to attend the workshop.   The scholarship will cover travel, lodging and food for the days of the CHIMe Workshop, and student registration fees to attend the CHI 2010 conference after the workshop.
