Microsoft Student Partners Program, 2007-2008

Microsoft Student Partners 2007-2008 academic year

Some students deserve extra recognition for going out of their way to help other students they lead campus clubs and user groups, head up those challenging team projects, or are key players in the campus technical community.




The Student Partners program is an elite job opportunity offered to technology-enthusiastic students. Individuals that take part in the Student Partners program understand and are passionate about Microsoft technologies and platforms. Student Partners  is an opportunity for you to expose those students to more opportunities and rewards!

Each year, Microsoft works with faculty to identify those deserving and qualified students and invite them to join this unique student community. Only a limited number of students are selected each year to participate generally we select 1-2 students on the top university and college campuses across the United States. (You can nominate as many as you want)

Successful students have the following qualities:
  • Passionate about technology   
  • Able to influence others
  • Willing to share knowledge
  • Proactive
  • Outgoing, well-connected with his/her peers and faculty
  • A good presenter
  • Organized and responsible, independent and collaborative worker
Technical expectations:
  • Intermediate knowledge of .NET and Visual Studio
  • Intermediate programming skill
  • Experience with Windows and other Microsoft technologies
  • Motivated to learn and present on new development technologies
     

    So what do your students get from all this?

    May 28th, 2007: Application period closes

    June 30th, 2007: Microsoft Student Partners are announced for the 2007-2008 program year.
