Make a Difference
You can help make a difference, empowering the leadership of computing scholars of tomorrow. How?
Students:
- Enroll in the EL Alliance student leadership program
- Collegially support student peers across the country
- Direct underrepresented minority students from majority institutions to join with you in the EL Alliance
- Mentor senior faculty and university administrators in how to improve their campus environments and programs
- Attend EL Alliance meetings and speaker programs in person, and via videoteleconference

Mentors, Partners & Advisors:
- Direct minority students from majority institutions to the EL Alliance
- Serve as a mentor for EL Alliance students, or as a speaker at EL Alliance events
- Provide information on opportunities for minority scholars to the EL Alliance, for dissemination to minority students
- Communicate as an ambassador for EL Alliance activities and successes
- Provide resources for students—memberships in professional societies, internships, and summer research opportunities
- Provide information on the achievements of minority scholars in the computing disciplines, to be shared throughout the EL Alliance Website, listserves, and meetings
